Assistance with Social and Community Participation at Orea Care

Individuals with disabilities often encounter challenges when it comes to social interaction and participating in activities within a community setting. At Orea Care, we recognize the profound impact that community engagement can have on a person’s overall well-being. As a result, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment that fosters meaningful interactions and encourages individuals to freely engage with others.
In accordance with the Support and Community Participation assistance, the NDIS is able to allocate funds for a support worker to aid you in the following areas,
  • Go for an outing or a holiday
  • Becoming a member of any social group
  • Participating in community events or being part of a club
  • Visiting the local library
  • Going to the movies or for concerts
  • To attend personal development classes

To acquire further information, please contact us and we will gladly assist you with Social and Community Participation. Although NDIS strives to cover all essential expenses to enable you to live the life you desire, there may be certain activities that NDIS does not fund. It is important for you to verify these activities with your provider.
